Although we are hugely passionate about increasing mental health awareness we are but a mere speck in an ocean of incredible services that exist to give people the very best information and help.
The following isn’t an exhaustive list but are an important selection of services, websites, blogs and businesses that we believe are leading the battle from the front.
Mental health charities:
Mind: Provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.
Time to Change: An anti-stigma campaign run by the leading mental health charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness. Aim is to start a conversation or hopefully thousands of conversations to end mental health stigma and discrimination.
Depression Alliance: Aims to bring people together to end the loneliness and isolation of depression. They also campaign to end the stigma of depression and to raise awareness of what it means to live with it.
Sane: Established in 1986 to improve the quality of life for people affected by mental illness
Rethink: Directly support almost 60,000 people every year across England to get through crises, to live independently and to realise they are not alone. Also change attitudes and policy for millions.
Young Minds: The UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Driven by their experiences they campaign, research and influence policy and practice.
